New project – Rebuilding large detached house in E11

We were first contacted by the owners of this property back in April 2017, when their plans were to reconfigure, extend and refurbish their existing detached house. As we developed the details of the project alongside the clients and their architects, it became clear that the more cost-effective and time-efficient option would be to demolish the existing house and build a new house completely from scratch.

A year on, planning permission has been granted, plans and costings have been developed between us in detail, and we are almost ready to start on site.

The new-build house will be larger than the existing, with an extended ground floor and a converted loft. It will feature a state-of-the-art ground source heat pump to maximise energy efficiency, and will be built using a timber frame to minimise time on site.

Works are expected to take approximately six months to complete, from demolition to handover.
